April 2001-A fact sheet based on evidence from the Maxfield Research, Inc.'s report, "A Study of the Relationship Between Affordable Family Rental Housing and Home Values in the Twin Cities." The study found that affordable housing rental developments built in Twin Cities suburban communities in the 1990's have not harmed the property values of surrounding single-family homes.
